What's going on everyone. I was on two panels at PAX East. Here they are for those interested in checking them out.

Panel 1: Teaching With Video Games

Teachers are at their best when they bring their passions into the classroom. Their enthusiasm can be contagious which helps foster a healthier learning environment for our students. For many teachers, this passion comes in the form of gaming. We can harness that enthusiasm and use games to help our students learn. How? Come join in on a conversation with a teacher (Zachary Hartzman - NYC high school teacher, founder of Hey Listen Games, and Future Class 2020 member) and five of his high school students where they will discuss how video games have been implemented in their classroom. Panel 2: Can We Finally Admit Games Should be in Classrooms?

School has often been a source of frustration for many student gamers. HOWEVER, what if we told you there are a bunch of teachers that are pushing the boundaries of the classroom to not only encourage gaming, but utilize game-based learning, tabletop games, and video games as ideal catalysts for student learning?
